Thursday: pick up Aunt Karli from airport/suprise party for her at the Boe's
The story behind these decieving pictures :) (jk) These pictures were before our "Nightmare at Terminal 2" -- This is the saying that my dear husband used as we were leaving the baggage claim after greeting Aunt Karli from her LONG flight home from Guam/Hawaii. We all laughed so hard b/c it was SO true....I think all of our boys were screaming at one time or running around, pushing, stepping on feet, hitting luggage as it came around etc. you get my point. Yes, they were good until the end then they just snapped or something as we were leaving...oh my....Needless to say, we probably won't ever go "in" O'Hare airport again unless we are flying out somewhere :) We all were definitely thrilled and excited to see the planes and wait for Karli's return home after 4 long years away in Guam--- and now to have her only 2 hours away is awesome! We had a wonderful day anyways and we were so thankful for the many hands there in the airport to help us out, especially Mikala and Maleah!!! Jason said he wants them to come live with us :) they were so good with the boys and the boys listened to them we couldn't believe it.
Karli's arrival :) YEAHHHHHHH

Friday: we had a cookout at Phil and Christine Steuerwalds/Greg suprised Karli by coming
Saturday: Everyone met at our place for a day of fun, shopping, eating, and suprising my niece Mikala with a birthday cake and presents
Sunday: The Boe family (minus dad) all sang in church and I played piano for them. Dad Boe preached right after so that was his big part :) We all videotaped it but no one got a picture during the actual singing, so here is a picture afterward....

Sounds like you all had a great time. Got to love the airport entertainment!
WOW...what an eventful few days for you all!!! I am so glad Karli made it back safely!! You will have to tell them all "HI" for me....
Hope you are all well. We need to get up there sometime to visit. Ben's dad has a restaraunt in Lockport and his family/gpa are close to you....so, we don't really have an excuse, eh?? :)
