We have been so busy lately so I apologize for lack of blogging...its just not like me, I know!! Anyways, my friend Amanda had a great fall party at her parents 10 acres with hay rides, animals to pet and feed, games, a pond to throw bread to the fish, a big jumping blow-up thingy, and great hikes. We had so much fun and the boys did so good! They truly are outdoorsmen:)
Also, our friends Michelle and Chris (Evelyn and Kaelyn) had a great costume party last Saturday for all the kids at our church (and adults:) Jason was officially the "hay ride" driver for the entire night--kids just loved it! Each time I would look to see where he was there were about 10 kids running and following Jason! So funny and so much fun! Have more to post but will do it later! We are on our way to Jon Monti's house for the start of basketball season!!!
Before we leave though I do have a prayer request: Many of you have been asking how Dad Boe has been and we all SO appreciate all your thought and prayers---this past week was especially hard--he hasn't eaten pretty much all week and is losing weight drastically, so they are thinking he will get a feeding tube. He has sores in his mouth and throat, a really bad taste always, and to top it all off- thrush in his mouth. He has 3 more weeks to go which goes all the way until Thanksgiving--Dad's favorite holiday meal-maybe he'll be able to enjoy it....For those of you who don't know his schedule of treatments, he has radiation every day (M-F) and chemo every Wednesday. Please keep him in your prayers, and I'll update more at the end of each week! We love you Dad and hope you are having a good, restful day today!

My prayers and love go out to this strong man. What a man he is, like a strong oak tree. My girlfriends girlfriend sound like she has the exact same thing. She has a VERY RARE cancer in the same area. All she is dealing with dad Boe is also let him know there is someone who does know. We care and love you all.
Look like you have bread a new generation of super heroes...they are SO adorable.
I will keep praying for Papa Boe as well, give him a big hug and kiss from us.
Love you all!
Hi Heather and family, I stumbled across your blog. Haven't talked to you in decades, probably since school..LOL.. Looks like you have a wonderful family!!! We will be in prayer for Dad Boe, we have gone through this with Gretchen's Dad recently and know the pains and emotions related to this type of situation. May you and the family rest in God's perfect will and His peace embrace you all ....
In God's strong love,
Bill & Gretch
