WILL IT EVER END?

We are supposed to be at my parents..... seeing family......opening Christmas gifts..... enjoying a wonderful meal.....enjoying each others company ~ instead we are cleaning up vomit here in IL! {sorry so graphic}

Yup, since Saturday we have all had this wonderful flu bug, except for Jason! Last night was the worst----Jordan, Jaden and I were all up since 3 am. --- every 20 minutes with Jordan ~ he had it, by far, the worst out of the other 2 boys ~ poor guy! I think I got sick again from cleaning everything up. I finally had to let Jason do it today, I couldn't do it anymore!!! Now we just WAIT.......we ask ourselves, will Jason get this ~ then we can go to Michigan???

We already opened our Christmas gifts Monday night, since we were {supposed} to be on our way Tuesday morning to Mi, we were surprised with Jaden who got sick in the night. We also got a bad snow and ice storm that night! Wonder what we'll be doing tomorrow on Christmas morning....boo hoo!! It's so nice to have "lazy" days, but we've have about 5 now....I'm ready to celebrate!!

ON THE FLIP SIDE --- We are SOOO thankful for Uncle Greg who is here with us-- He got here Monday night and he and Jason are taking VERY good care of us, I just pray he doesn't get sick---- he heads back to N.C. Saturday! Jaden just loves his "uncle greg" as do all our boys, but its just so cute to see Greg always holding Jaden!

Dad Boe's chemo went well yesterday. It was a 2 hour session and he goes every 3 weeks for about 3 months (I think thats right?). He actually had a chest X-ray at the hospital the other day but all was fine, it was just a cold. Thank you Lord. I am hoping he is feeling better. He had quite the "deep" voice =) It will be nice to see them Friday, if we are all better!

Enjoy your Christmas everyone and as I look back at our sick family I can honestly say...the Lord knows best! We are here in IL for a reason and tomorrow on Christmas day, although no more gifts to open~ we WILL ENJOY Jesus birthday and remind our boys of the special gift he gave to us---HIMSELF!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
