This is how it all started, I just wish mom would have had that picture of Duane, Jim and I sitting underneath her as she was standing, her pregnant belly towering over us, and in fact, that was the night you guys were born! I truly remember that day and how excited we were----realistically speaking though I was hoping for sisters, but when the secretary came to get me to talk to dad on the phone and find out the good news I'll never forget the words he said, "They're BOYS." :) I just wanted to make sure both of you were okay and healthy--- besides the fact weighing 8 lbs each-- wowsers!!!!!! Oh, yes, continueing on.....after I got back to my elementary classroom my teacher and classmates were eagerly awaiting the news too and I opened the door to go into my classroom, shut it, leaned back on it and said as any second grader would (rolling my eyes),"They're boys" and they all let out a big YEAH (not my girlfriends, of course)!! :) I realized then and there that I was going to be 'out-numbered' for a VERY long time!! I'm so happy with what God has done in our family and in your lives. Now you are both with your wonderful wives and having the time of your life serving Him together. Can't believe 23 years ago.....nice pictures of the boys ,Heather. By the way, they weren't BOTH 8 lbs......Daniel was 7lb.15 oz. and David 8 lb. 10 oz. !!!! Wasn't a record they told me. You were so cute and still are. mom
