What a day !!

It was a busy day yesterday (actually this whole week is) but we are making the best of it! The boys wanted to help me cook dinner, which they LOVE to do, whether its cookies, pizza or spaghetti. We were making stromboli so it was easy for them to just throw on the toppings and eat some while I wasn't looking! :) Jordan couldn't wait to wrap it up and have me put it into the oven! They sure did love eating it! I'll need to make two next time :) I thank God daily at how nice and loving Jordan is to his younger brother, always (usually) wanting to help him or get him involved with what he's doing and asking so kindly these days, believe me, its not always been like that--- only with the Lord's help and lots of prayer!! Anyways, they loved helping me out it so reminded me of my brother Jim and how he always was the one who wanted to help my mom!! Jason even told them it was "the best" ever and they were just thrilled and all smiles :)

While we were eating Jason got home for about 15 minutes, then he and our assistant pastor were off to do music at another church for their missions conference. They got there around 6:15pm then left around 7:30 b/c our church league championship game was last night at 8:30pm. Yes, I can still say, "my husband's still got it" they all did such a great job and WON. Its actually their second 1st place win this year with the bball league's they are in. Its such a great opportunity to minister to those who don't go to church and the Lord has been continuously blessing Calvary each and every week. Next is softball season--- starting up in May--- now my question is where are all the 'lady' sports where the husbands have to come, watch and take care of the kiddo's :) haha (not that I could right now anyways, but for future reference-- I'll have to check on that!! haha)

***Jen update! Thank you all for your prayers. We had some good news last night and today! The doctors said her heart was as big as a balloon whenthey went in b/c of all the pressure built up.....by the time they were done (took only 6 hours) it was the normal size of a heart and all went really well. She was taken off the ventilator as of noon today and Jon was able to talk to her, but she is still heavily sedated. Jon said its looking really good and thanks us all for everything! The Lord is good!

Who's the guy with the frow? It's awesome! Ok - so it's not as big as a black frow - but it's pretty sweet;)

Hey! I received your email! Your idea on starting a blog to share with "long distance" friends is a great idea! I'll have to try it. Thanks!

Karli-- his name is Dave -- I played vball with him in a league last year-- the guys asked him if he'd play for Calvary bball-- him and his brother (next to him)and they said yes, so that was neat!

Stephanie-- yes, as you can tell I love this stuff :) I'm sure once the baby gets here I won't have the time like I do now!! :) But I know you'd love it :)

Glad to hear things are going well for you. You probably don't remember me, but glad to see you doing well in coaching and playing.

Heather,

I noticed this link on so many blogs, but I didn't realize that Jason and you were married. I just noticed your maiden name on Gknee's blog.

Don't know if you remember me, I am Tancy Griffin now, Gutierrez previously. Thought I would say hi.

Your kids are cuties.
