Fun in the sun!!

What a beautiful, fun day for the boys, we actually had a new slip n slide and sprinkler we tried out today and they just loved it (even got daddy into the fun). Ya, that last picture the boys slipped right off the slide, it was hilarious at first when they were getting used to it....pretty slippery!!! It was quite the morning/day for us, isn't that summer though, crazy, but fun-filled days!!! Mom and Dad left around 3:30 am for the airport (Jason went and dropped them off) Jared woke up right before they all left the house and was up the entire time until Jason came home (as was I) which was around 5am, Jaden was up earlier around 3am so I just stayed up with Jared---all this to say---we slept in until 10am, Jared and Jason slept until 11am. I wasn't sure if the boys would want breakfast or lunch when they got up :) haha. BTW, mom and dad arrived safe and sound in Denver. They are visiting Jim and Johanna for a week! :)
Hope you all have a wonderful 4th of July. We are so blessed to live in a free & safe country. We continue to pray for our men and women overseas and their families as they are not able to be together right now. It's hard to put into words how appreciative I am of them all. Thank you so much!!

We want to wish you guys a Happy 4th also. You are right we are so grateful we live in the country which God has placed us in, how very fortunate we all are. I feel for the folks who know nothing but war going on in their countries. If it doesn't rain we are going to get Gramma R and go by Carl's Ice Cream and get a dish of ice cream and go to the edge of Normal and watch the fireworks, but they are calling for rain tomorrow so we will see.

It was so good to see all of you last Sat., so glad you could come and share Avery's bd party with him. Glad we finally got to meet Jaden too, what a sweety! You guys remind us so much of thirty years ago for us and it doesn't seem that long ago, how time has a way of getting away from all of us. Enjoy those three little guys while you can, know it's hard when they are little, but you have a good help mate there too! Talk to you later....Love, Aunt BK and Uncle Harlan
