Prayer Requests

Jason's dad needs prayer ~ they found more cancer in his head ~the doctors will be doing a PET scan this next week (we think) to see if he has to go through chemo/radiation again (the cancer could possibly be all gone now and that would be WONDERFUL). Of course, this is hard for the family to take in but we know there is a reason he got it in the beginning and we just wait and know that "with God all things are possible." The Lord is good and he will give us grace to get through it all again~together!

Also, today is the funeral for Jason's college basketball coach and our friend/teacher ~Coach Terrill~ had a stroke last week and never recovered. He was in his 60's and of course, this was such a shock to his dear family and friends! If you'd like to read more on him and his family/accomplishments go to mbbc.edu (Jordan just asked me what I was writing and I told him about coach Terrill having a 'heart attack' (I didn't use the word "stroke" b/c I wasnt sure if he would understand it) so he then asked, "who attacked him, mom?" --out of the mouth of babes, I thought to myself as I chuckled and thought coach would have laughed at that one too--he was such a great story teller of his grandkids, I just loved his classes in college)

This is SO VERY minor compared to the first two, but just keep me in your prayers as we are packing and getting ready to move. Our closing date on our house is the 10th and our closing date for the new house is the 11th so we will be "homeless" for an evening--we are thinking of going to a hotel with a pool so we can have some much needed fun by then~swim the stress and pains (from lifting/moving) away--ha!! Seriously, I want to keep the right focus through all of this and remember that God is in control and He already knows the outcome of those two days~pretty neat! Thank you all so very much! XOXOXOXO

I just heard about Coach Terrell. He was a great storyteller! We will be praying for Jason's Dad. Going through cancer with my brother-in-law I understand a lttle bit of what your family is going through. I understand the moving prayer request. Definately go to a hotel!!!! Sounds like fun!
Know that we will be praying for you!
