Moving on...

Thought I would show some pictures of all the rain and flooding we got here in Will county. Our house is on the right side of the Du Page river thats for sure! Our house is behind that tall barn. This river is WAY up, and their is a lot of flooding around here. We are so thankful to be dry and we hope all is safe and well with you all...

such a fast moving river

our house is behind that red barn in the background

this river is supposed to be between the 2 trees and the row of trees on the right...as you can see its way past that!!

this is taken from my upstairs window so thats why its kinda blurry! I usually can't see any water from the river (out of my window).

**I asked Jordan how school was today and he said, "half good, half bad" usually its not that kind of answer at all and its all good!! =) So, of course, I asked what the half bad meant and he said, "I got my nose on the wall" I couldn't believe it, yet, maybe I could!! (I was trying not to laugh as he was telling me why b/c he was SO serious). He said, his teacher had given him enough warnings about putting his arms in his shirt and playing around (I'm sure disrupting class) so she told him that was his last time and to go put his nose on the wall!!! (I was actually thankful it was just that) Hopefully, he learned his lesson today!!

I did not realize you were so close to water. You guys got pounded with rain. We still need more here. It is so dry. We are having beautiful weather now. I love it. Jordan cracks me up. He is such a sweet boy too.

I think of Jordan when I visit our school and see the K5 kidos. I can't believe how fast time is buzzing by. Miss you all and look forward to a visit.
