He's still smiling!!!!!!

Yes, I wonder if this is the beginning of my "boy" injuries =) ha ha!! You ask...how did it happen? Let me just first say "COMPETITIVE BROTHERS" let me tell ya! Jared and Jordan were racing (Jared was ahead of Jordan!) and Jared tripped {or was pushed from behind} as I had, of course, turned my back to play with Jaden.....and then I hear Jared screaming out in the grass. They told me what happened, but since 6pm Monday night, he hasn't walked on his foot and has been in a lot of pain. He was up in the middle of the night too, so that's when I knew I needed to take him in. We went to an Immediate Care to get X-rays. They didn't see any break or fracture but wanted me to see an orthopedic pediatrician and/or my regular pediatrician b/c they think it's his growth plate. I took him to my pediatrician to get referred, but she just put the cast on herself{2 weeks} and gave me some homeopathic things to give Jared. He's not in a lot of pain anymore so that's a praise!! Guess we'll just wait and see what the next 2 weeks bring! He took a bath tonight {the cast is waterproof} and he always yells out whenever it itches {which we can't do anything about (poor guy--can't imagine)--doctor said don't stick anything down in it} so please just pray he starts walking on it, the cast is hard enough so we are just waiting to see when he'll walk, instead of crawl =) It still hurts and he's scared to I think. I hope in a few days he'll have more confidence of this cast he's wearing!!!
