As many of you know, I homeschooled Jordan this year. It actually went pretty well and I loved not having to go anywhere each and every day. I'm pretty sure Jordan loved staying home too ;) It was so weird for me to just have Jordan to teach after teaching 25+ 4th graders for all those years I taught---I mean, can I say SUPER EASY!!!!!!!!!!!! We are done in about 2 hours with everything and thankfully, Jordan is easy to teach and smart. I explain something to him once and he says, "Mom, I've got it, I can do it now" ---- and he does! Its cute to see him read a story outloud.... pause and be like, "Mom, that doesn't make sense?" His mind is always going! It's been a great year and we hope to be done by his birthday May 30th....we will =) I am probably going to homeschool Jordan next year (we take it a year at a time...so far so good). Jared will be going to K-5 at Trinity Christian School in the fall. He will be gone from 8-11:30 so that is when I'll get Jordan's schooling done and we'll be done by noon everyday!
Here's to a great year Jordan. We love you so much!!!!!!
Can you tell where they (other homeschool friends) wanted to go?

Our new table.....

we are SO blessed to have gotten this from Sam's Club. It was the display model so we got even a better deal.... thank you Lord. It has 8 chairs and a huge leaf in it ~ we love how it fits us all and there is room leftover. A GREAT GAME table I might add!!!! We had 7 kids this exact night so I'm sorry for the messiness ;)

LOVE IT!!! but, you already knew that! ;)
Very nice. I am glad all worked well for you guys. I can't believe how grown up the boys are getting.
oh I love the table! Square tables are awesome I have decided! and 8 chairs....what a steal!
So glad things went well with Jordan. Question why not Jared too, what was behind the decsion to take Jared to school? Just wondering.
I think we should break it in with a game of settlers next time we're down. :o)
Love you all!
I don't do Kindergarten =)(Jordan went to K-5 and learned everything, it was so easy for me this year to teach 1st grade then) so that is our thing right now, they go to K-5 and I let the great teachers teach reading and writing for me, then I get them =)I enjoy the upper elementary grades, not the phonics, letter sounds etc. Just so much repetition I don't feel I'd give him constantly!!
Thanks guys....come visit anytime, our doors are always open!!
so pretty!
Looks like the kids all had fun at Chucky Cheese!! Can't believe the school year is almost done! I love the new table...looks great in your kitchen !
