I just wanted to write a quick note and say how much I LOVED this year's conference in Bloomington, IL. In my mind, it was much better than last years and I gleaned so much especially from my 'now' favorite speaker....Susie Larson.....maybe it helps she has 3 sons that are now 20,22, and 24!!!!! If I could tell you the stories she told I would, but there is not enough time or space. lol Just go and buy her book "Growing Grateful Kids"--such an easy read and I'm LOVING it. I mean, who doesn't want grateful kids, especially in this society! Materialism is flowing strong and Susie really made me understand (again--I always need to be reminded) that through simple language and Bible applications, its VERY doable and important to teach gratitude to our children continually. Its critical, yet not difficult at all! Wow. I just loved her enthusiasm, her humor, and she even had me in tears! I highly recommend this book. Please look it up, read it and tell me what you think! I also got 2 other books written by her but have not read them yet. I"ll let you know what I think when I'm done. =) 1. "The uncommon woman ~making an ordinary life extraordinary" and 2. "Balance that works when life doesn't" ~ simple steps to a woman's physical and spiritual health.

I HOPE I AM THAT EXCITED SATURDAY AT OUR LADIES CONFERENCE. GLAD YOU WERE SOOOOO BLESSED.
I'm so jealous! I wasn't able to attend this year, and I feel like I really missed out--I have heard so many people say how GREAT it was! Glad you had fun...I'll have to pick up that book!
