So I thought we should go outside last night and try shoveling before Jason got home--what a nice suprise that would be for him so he wouldn't have to do it, plus he'd be able to get to our garage--- so I bundled the boys up and we headed outside about 4:40pm-- I was so excited, the boys were just going to LOVE the snow-- we got about 6 inches, thats not happened in a long time! I know Jordan liked it, but Jared just got his new boots so he'd never really been 'in' it before :) Jordan (yes, he has his own shovel) and I get shoveling our monstrous, long driveway (I was pooped just doing what I did) and I heard Jared crying, he was so bundled up he had a hard time getting up out of the snow. I saw his poor hands--his gloves were soaked and kept falling off, and he LOVES to eat the snow so he had been picking it up with his bare hands (I seriously kept putting them back on each time they fell off, but that just wasn't enough--- then he started screaming and I could see they were all red and starting to swell b/c of the cold, he kept crying, actually screaming, "BRRRRRR, BRRRRRR" like Mom, do something to make them warm!! All in all, he did like the snow, but when we came in he sure didn't want to go out in it again for awhile!! I think we were out a total of about 15-20 minutes :) Thats okay though, Jason got home around 6:30pm, we ate, played a game, then he, Jordan and Mac went out to finish and played/wrestled in it until 10 p.m. last night!! That's all on tape :)

Augh!! Sounds like so much fun!!! We were tempted to take luke out yesterday. Bundle him up and get his pic out in the snow but then we thought it might just be a tad too cold for him. Maybe another day when it isn't so cold out.:)
ok, did you seriously do that at 7:30 this morning??? I never knew computers worked that early:)
No, my time is way off, I need to fix that...my boys wake up around 8:30am. I think I did this around 10am!! :)
Ya, glad you kept Luke in :) Little too cold out for him yet :)
I have to have one of the best wives, ever!! Here she is pregnant, 2 boys ages 3 and 1, it's 5 degrees out, and 6 inches of snow are on the ground. Then, she is trying to clear the way so that I can get into the drive. What a girl!! You know how I take great care in clearing the snow when it comes, so for you to be that thoughtful in helping me was a great surprise. I thank my God for every rememberance of you. I love you. No. Seriously, I LOVE YOU!
To cute. Jared could be like the littel brother on A Christmas story all bundled up! I cant believe you shovled the driveway..be careful preggers!
i was thinking the same thing as jessica, and i was just about to write it, but she beat me to it and STOLE my thunder.....dang it....oh well i'm sure that you had a fun time warming jareds hands....how come you go out and shovel the driveway now, back in the day you never wanted to come out and help us shovel now you do it because ??????....what the heck....:)
Why would I have to go out there when I have 4 BROTHERS to do it :) You didn't need my help :) Besides, I did it when you were too little and just played in it while Duane and I did the shoveling...
