FOR MOM :-)

I need to apologize for the lack of blogging :( At the request and help of my mother, I hope to be more consistent!! :-)

I am doing some 'projects' so I will add those in mixed in with some cute boys!!!! I'm excited!

Here is what I made Th. night that we will be doing for our MOM's group on Tuesday. This was SO easy!! I "heart" pinterest!!!!!!

Foam tubing from Lowe's or Home Depot. It was 6 ft. long. I cut it and duct taped it together to make like a "steering" wheel... Jason's terminology when he saw it!! ha! By the way $.97.


Crepe streamers.....$1.00


NOW this part gets tricky, not really..... but anyways this was supposed to be something totally different.........a RED HEART wreath with felt...we had to 'change it a bit" since that would have been ALOT more expensive! We found this and it was perfect and cheap. The zebra print was just some ribbon I had. The pink will be RED at our MOM's group. Thursday night the stores around me were out of red, so I bought what was left and got the hot pink! ha. Doesn't look too bad, right? To make the flower looking things with the streamer paper, I just cut lots of 2 inch pieces, crossed them (like a T), then twisted the bottom and pinned the bottom of that to the wreath...so easy! It took about 75 flowers, 75 straight pins and then some ribbon (hot glued) to hang! Not sure how long it took, I will find out Tuesday if 45 minutes is enough time!! lol
