Are you ready for some funny pictures? He gave me his blessing on putting these up.... we were cracking up at his "mean" look after surgery--poor guy, he was SO OUT OF IT!

(this is the pic that cracks us up......he was so dizzy and out of it--took him about 90 minutes for him to come "out of the narcotic" stages... I wondered what was taking so long for me to go in and see him, usually only takes about 20 minutes they told me......he was quite the heavy sleeper they said..... go figure)
This is where he spends his time at home, the wonderful "Merritt recliner" -- we put a sheet over it already so we don't get it dirty or anything--its actually a very nice one!!! Thanks guys, it's working out great---not sure if he's going to want to give it up!! ha! =)
* We'll see if Jason goes outside tonight with us for a little bit, its about 70 degrees here today and just beautiful. The boys will dress up and venture out with me, but don't think Jason will be up to it. He did go out for a few minutes so that was a good start! Happy Trick or Treat everyone!

HA!! I love the mean one. It needs to go up in the locker room!! Hope you are feeling better Jason. Ap. State is playing on tv so kick back and watch some good sports. Rest till it is time to exercise.

Jason, trust each day you are healing more. Doesn't sound like much fun to me, but know it needed to be done. Glad it is over for you, how long are you off from teaching at this point?

Thank you all! Things are going well right now. With the help of my bride & boys I've been able to get a lot of rest the last few days. I've been trying to go for walks every day just to keep my legs under me, and after a 1/4 mile walk I'm so tired that I have to take a nap. I feel so lazy, but know that it'll get better with time.
Oh, and I went & voted early knowing that I might not feel up to getting out today.
